To meet customer demands for reducing running costs and increasing efficiency of the cutting process, Kjellberg developed the new Yellow XLife^® plasma consumables. They are available for HiFocus and FineFocus systems. These consumables achieve up to 3.5 time longer life time than previous models and even up to 7 times longer life time than copies.

Customers can now order the new generation of consumables for plasma torches PerCut 370.2 used on the machine types HiFocus 280i, HiFocus 360i and HiFocus 440i as well as for PB-S80W used on the FineFocus 800 machine. The latest knowledge attained through Kjellberg’s research and development work contributed to the optimisation of the consumable sets consisting of the new oxygen cathode T012Y, the nozzles T2115Y, T2120Y, T2125Y, T2127Y and T2130Y as well as the new cooling tube T902Y. There is a new tool for the cooling tube which can be used also for the predecessor model.
The previous consumables are replaced now by the new Yellow XLife^® generation with a longer life time. Mixing previous and new consumables is not possible since these are not compatible and the new consumables are optimally adapted to one another.

The users’ advantages are:

up to 3.5 times longer lifetime compared to the one of the previous generation
ideal at high cutting current, for long contour and bevel cuts
longer life time than copies due to highest manufacturing precision
further cost reduction due to fewer consumable parts and noticeably less changing times
lower costs per cutting metre than those of competitors and copy users
same prices as previous consumables

Several tests at customers' sites in Germany and elsewhere have verified these results.
The new consumables have even shown up to seven (7) times longer lifetime than copies.
